Using Amazon AWS for Business and SEO on The CommonSenSEO Show No.22

Using Amazon AWS for Business and SEO is the topic for The CommonSenSEO Show No.22, streaming live on Tuesday, 18th June @ 10:30am EST (16:30pm CET).

On the day of the show, Henrik and Tony will be attending the Amazon AWSome Day Online Conference, taking note of any snippets we gain from the AWS boffins, and bringing them to you in a no-nonsense round-up.

The day is described as being for those who are eager to learn more about cloud computing and how to get started on the AWS Cloud.

Amazon go on to say that the content is introductory, the sessions are focused on providing an overview of AWS services and features, with the assumption that attendees are new to the topic.

The thing is though, there is 5-hours of live training sessions to wade through and filter, so how many of us really have 5-hours to step out and listen to AWS?

That’s why Henrik and Tony are going to do that for you. Spot the nuggets, and bring them to you in one compact 30-minute show.

During our 5-hour stint, we will be attending the following lectures:

Lecture 1: AWS Cloud Concepts

This Lecture will cover the value of cloud and the benefits of adopting AWS Cloud.

Lecture 2: AWS Core Services

This Lecture will cover several of the AWS categories and services – what the services do, when and how to use them.

Lecture 3: AWS Security

This Lecture will cover how AWS approaches securing the cloud, along with the AWS Shared Responsibility Model, AWS Access Control and Management, AWS Security Compliance Programs, and resources available to aid you in better understanding AWS Cloud security options.

Lecture 4: AWS Architecting

This Lecture will cover AWS Architecting, which includes the Well-Architected Framework and reference architectures for Fault Tolerance & High Availability and Web Hosting.

Lecture 5: AWS Pricing and Support

This Lecture will cover fundamentals of pricing and elements of pricing for several key services, as well as the TCO Calculator and AWS support plans.

If you are new to AWS or looking to accelerate an understanding of the cloud, this show is for you.

You could of course attend the full 5-hours, but for anyone in the US, that would mean getting up pretty early as it all kicks off at 5am EST. Or you could just stay in bed and get the condensed version from us directly at 10:30am ESt, which is as hot off the press as it gets!

Email: Managing Your Email Accounts Professionally and Affordably on The CommonSenSEO Show No.21

Managing Your Email Accounts is one of those under-discussed, but overly frustrating topics that we, as Internet Marketers, need to deal with.

We could rely on mail services provided by our hosting companies, but this is fraught with problems for reasons we cover in today’s show.

We could (and in fact do) manage our own mail servers, but is this a technical goliath we really need to take on?

And then there is the question of outbound mail and autoresponders.

So on this week’s show, Henrik and Tony will be talking about the good and the bad practices when it comes to managing mail as an Agency or Internet Marketing business.

We have invited special guests to join us, so the questions can get as techy as you need.

Please join us on Tuesday 11th June at 10:30am EST (16:30pm CET) and let’s put those email issues to one side and out of worries way.

Please Note: The options we discuss are the ones we either use or have used, this does not mean they are the absolute best in all instances, but it does mean we trust them, feel they offer great value, and also feel confident to share them with you.

Most of the services we discuss today are not because of any affiliate or special deal between CommonSenSEO and/or the companies that provide them.

The idea here is to bring new ideas to the table that make Common Sense, to us at least.

  • CommonSenSEO – Extremely powerful and industry leading SEO services that are guaranteed to deliver success to your business
  • The CommonSenSEO Show – bringing lively discussion to the world of SEO across many social platforms, such as YouTube and Facebook
  • Business Website Mastery

Google Pagespeed Insights: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly on The CommonSenSEO Show No.20

Google Pagespeed Insights is the topic of this week’s CommonSenSEO Show, and to talk through the good, the bad, and the ugly of page speed is one very special guest.
Tony and Henrik are excited to be rolling out the red carpet for Frank Goossens. Creator of the massively popular autoptimize and async javascript plugins.

As a Pagespeed Pro, Frank will be discussing the tips and tools that really work in getting that page load time as fast as it can be. As Frank manages site speed optimization projects for his clients, we are certain this show will be one NOT TO MISS!

In fact, to put it all into context, we will be taking a site that is failing on performance scores and working through the reasons why, then discussing how to fix that using Autoptimize & other plugins.

If you think you aren’t getting the best out of your WordPress site speed right now, then jump on board for a blueprint that you could put into action right after the show!

We look forward to seeing you on the next show.

Website Speed and Page Load Optimization on The CommonSenSEO Show No.19

Website Speed and Page Load Optimization is our topic for The CommonSenSEO Show on Tuesday, 28th May 2019.

As every searches for that elusive page load time of below 1 second, the team at CommonSenSEO have been back to the lab to discover what works, and how you can implement it without masses of technical knowledge.

Playlists CommonSenSeOShow:

Page speed is clearly an important factor in SEO, but it certainly isn’t the only factor.

That’s why we decided to get down and dirty on what really pays dividends in return for time invested.

There really is no point in wasting hours on squeezing the last milisecond from your load time in most cases. If you can achieve a sub 2-second load time without those hours of painful effort, isn’t good enough, good enough?

This week, we bring the results of our research and also unveil the tools we use to help our sites to fly.

Don’t worry, it’s actually much easier than you might think, especially when you have the right tools in your toolbox.

So join Henrik & Tony for this week’s show, and let’s crack the page speed panic once and for all.

Site Speed, CTR & Optimization for WordPress on The CommonSenSEO Show No.18

Site Speed, CTR & Optimization for WordPress brings together 3 quite different, yet overlapping topics for discussion on The CommonSenSEO Show No.18.

Google has made quite a lot of noise about site speed, but where can we draw the line of common sense? When do we need to worry about site speed, or when can we confidently turn our attention to other SEO factors?

Playlists CommonSenSeOShow:

Click-through rates are a part of the ranking jigsaw. Speed clearly plays a big part in this, but what else should we consider to keep our CTR high.

Optimization is the final of today’s trilogy, where we look back at speed and how to adapt our sites to make them faster, more efficient, yet still compelling enough to keep the visitors glued to our sites for long enough to ensure a good retention rate.

In the most part, the topics above will fall into the User Experience factors, so how they all come together to help our UX metrics?
